1967 Fratelli Bigatti Barolo

1967 Fratelli Bigatti Barolo

Notes

Barolo is a red wine produced in the Piedmont region of Italy, arguably the most important wine region in the country. The wines are made from Nebbiolo grapes, a thinner-skinned, small fruit generally high in tannins and acid. Nebbiolo is one of the first varietals to undergo budbreak in Piedmont, with harvest then generally taking place late in October, making the grapes some of the last to be picked. Without exception, Barolo wines must be solely composed of Nebbiolo.
