This delightful Sicilian amaro is remarkable in several ways. It's produced in a state of the art facility created to be as efficient and environmentally friendly as possible. In fact, no waste water is produced in the entire process. The amaro itself is made from citrus grown locally on the slopes of Mt. Etna. The Zagara Bianca lemon peel is infused with the alcohol and wild Sicilian herbs and sugar, rested for 30 days. The amaro is a plesant and fragant blend of fresh and candied citrus with a medium bitter body and aftertaste. A great digestivo.
