Review Date: 05/2023A wonderful wine. Prune, bitter chocolate, smoked meat and black pepper. Full and dense and fine. Long and forceful, yet time has transcended any sense of sweetness or heaviness. A fantastic Amarone that is uncannily akin to a fine Bordeaux, accentuated by a tad of rusticity at the finish that doesn't, however, impede its long flow. Drink now. (NG)

Despite the change in ownership in 2011, Bertani has remained firmly fixed, locks and chains, to its historic brand identity. There has been absolutely zero change to the wines or the winemaking."
