This independent family run distillery was founded by Tarquin Leadbetter in 2012. The classically trained chef began his gin journey with a .7 liter still and a dream to make something delicious. Hundreds of trials later, he settled on this exceptional recipe and purchased his first proper still, a porteguese alembic pot named Tamara. Heated with his old paeilla pan gas stove, Tarquin Gin was born. Every ingredient hand selected, every process done by human eye, touch, taste. In just a few years, the excellent gin became one of the UKs most popular and in 2017 Tarquin's won World's Best Gin at SF World spirits competition.
