The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon (Rutherford) is loaded with all of the savory and mineral intensity that makes wines from this part of Napa Valley so compelling. Crushed rocks, gravel, game, licorice, sage, menthol and black cherry are front and center in this powerhouse Cabernet. The 2019 is terrific and quite promising. (AG)

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Chateau Buena Vista is solid, with a spicy, toasty style as well as classic Cabernet notes of currants, dried herbs, spice box, and cedar pencil. This medium-bodied, balanced, satisfying effort has lots to love and should deliver the goods for 7-8 years or more.
