Reviewed January 2022The 2019 Siaurac is gorgeous. Pliant and succulent in the glass, with striking fruit presence, Siaurac shows just how compelling the best Lalande de Pomerols are. Red cherry fruit, blood orange, mint, spice and cedar build into the creamy, beautifully layered finish. (AG)

Mulberries, cherries, wet stones, mushrooms and undergrowth on the nose. Medium-bodied with chewy tannins. Rich, structured and savory with a firm finish.

Nuanced nose, smells polished and poised. This is spicy and high-toned, full of sweet cinnamon and cedar. Feels a little astringent right now even though there's a good core of bright cherry and strawberry fruit. I do like the juiciness and this has a soft sweetness, but the wood element is still quite pronounced. Firm acidity and some wet stone, too. Seems to have a lot of the elements and wood does feel quite well handled, though there is an oaky, warming sensation on the finish. 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc. (GH)

Super sexy wine-much like their 2009, but better. It must be the 9% Malbec in the blend. Attractive and polished nose with aromas of red berries. Very elegant on the palate-long finish. I am not crazy about the label, but i love their wines.
