A little swirling of the glass sets the nose soaring with notions of crème de cassis, blackberry pie and stewed plums, giving way to nuances of Chinese five spice, crushed rocks and iron ore with a touch of lavender. The full-bodied palate is super rich and concentrated, delivering decadent black fruit preserves and spicy layers, framed by ripe, rounded tannins and seamless freshness, finishing with epic length.
