Dried pear with some floral, bread-dough and flint aromas that follow through to a medium body, with a pretty center-palate and a creamy texture. Light fresh-ginger and pear flavor at the end. Balanced.

Don't be put off by the intensely resinous scent; this is a complex, classic manzanilla, with dark nut notes in the intense flor-driven flavor and a brisk sea-salt edge. Under the flor, hints of lemon zest, dried apple and almonds merge in a delicate balance. Ideal with nothing more than a handful of marcona almonds.

We are thrilled to welcome Barbadillo's Solear bottling of Manzanilla back into the Sherry section. This long aged (5+ years) Manzanilla is bright and saline, but also richly texture, savory and very much influenced by the flor. Seriously structured Manzanilla for a terrific price!
