Reviewed February 2023A small step up, the 2019 Pinot Noir Golden Hour boasts slightly darker red fruits (strawberries, cherries) as well as complex notes of iron, damp earth, and forest floor. More medium-bodied, focused, and structured on the palate, it too is a perfectly balanced Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir that will keep for a decade.

Pale to medium ruby-purple in color, the 2019 Pinot Noir Golden Hour needs a little coaxing to unlock scents of black cherries, pomegranate and black raspberries, with hints of earth, truffles and crushed rocks. The medium to full-bodied palate has a solid frame of firm, fine-grained tannins and fantastic tension, supporting the wonderfully intense and elegantly layered flavors, finishing very long and very earthy.
