Review Date: 10/2021A potent, brooding wine, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Ghost Block is packed with inky dark fruit, leather, licorice, lavender, spice and scorched earth. The Ghost Block is not exactly subtle, but it certainly has plenty of personality. Give it a year or two to soften. (AG)

Tilts to exotic in profile, with mulberry and boysenberry compote notes liberally scored with singed anise, fruitcake and Christmas pudding notes. A tarry coating on the finish adds more oomph, while the overall polished feel makes this accessible now. For fans of the style. (JM)
