On the palate, it delivers bright red fruit, a touch of cedar, and a mineral-driven finish that strikes a harmonious balance between fruit, acidity, and fine tannins. The charm of the 2019 vintage is evident here, especially in its richness, but I’m eager to see how it evolves with age. For anyone who questions the exceptional value coming out of Bordeaux today, this bottle will leave little doubt. Extremely well done.
