There is a trace of phenolic character to the fresh and ripe aromas of citrus confit, pear, poached apple and just sliced fennel. The dense, powerful and tautly muscular flavors possess an abundance of sappy dry extract that helps to buffer the impressively long finale. Like several wines in the range, this could use better depth but more should develop if allowed a few years of bottle aging. *Burghound Outstanding!*
