Duckhorn's 2020 Chardonnay is gently toasty and custardy on the nose, with those elements backed by notes of pineapple and ripe guava. Almost entirely barrel fermented and aged in 40% new French oak, it's creamy on the palate, with a finish that's more savory than fruity or crisp. (JC)
