There is pure cherry and currant fruit hidden beneath a veneer of tannins in this red, along with mint, iron, tea and tobacco accents. Sleek and refined, harmonious and complex, with a long aftertaste of cherry, mint and mineral. This is poised to evolve beautifully over the next two to three decades. (BS)
