Bordiga Pastis Provencal Liqueur (700ml)

We generally think of Pastis as a French specialty, but the product actually has Occitan origins. The cultural connections between this part of France and the Piedmont region are strong. They've been producing this anis based liqueur with this traditional recipe for nearly a century and very few of the commercial French versions, or even the artisanal ones, match Bordiga for the complexity and quality. The powerful rich character is a blend of herbs softly balanced and very drinkable. With some cold water the louche is very strong and thick opening the aromas of fruit, herbs and flowers that balance the zingy anis character.
