Review Date: 06/2022A beautifully layered and quite spicy nose openly reveals its ripe and fresh aromas of white and yellow orchard fruit and includes hints of the exotic such as mandarin orange and passion fruit. The sleek, intense and tautly muscular mineral-driven flavors possess outstanding density and an almost pungent minerality on the markedly powerful, chiseled and beautifully long finish. The intensity really builds from the mid-palate to the highly refreshing backend. In short, this is classy but it's classy with attitude.

Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé farms one of the rare Chardonnay plantings in the Grand Cru of Musigny, a site otherwise celebrated for Pinot Noir in Chambolle-Musigny.
