Word on the street is that the Larceny single barrel program is being scaled back to fill more of the Larceny Cask Strength bottles as demand shot to the moon after it won Whiskey Advocates top accolades. While it's great news that there will be a small amount more of LCS, it'll still be hard as hell to get a hold of. We're not sure if/when we will be able to purchase more of these barrels, but if this is our last one, we picked a doozy. Vanilla, caramel, whipped cream, butterscotch, freshly churned butter: it's all things decadent in a single barrel. Add to that a little sweet spice and the tiniest hint of cracked black pepper and you've got a barrel to remember.
