Gravel, raspberry and spice scents jump from this when first poured. The wine is lively, crisp and utterly slurpable in an amazingly food friendly way. There are some cherry and vanilla notes on the lingering finish.

Low price for a very flavorful red I love these red Bordeaux 2016s. Plenty of acidity and refreshing to the palate. The secon label of Grand Enclos du Chateau de Cerons. Very spicy aromas and lots of minerals on the palate. Try it with prime rib.

Notes

Château Lamouroux is the second label wine from the Graves estate Grand Enclos du Château de Cérons. The blend is 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and the wine is aged for 12 months in second and third use barrels. The 2016 vintage was absolutely phenomenal in Bordeaux. The 2016 Château Lamouroux offers incredible QPR with the ability to age.
