Released in 2020 to commemorate Old Forester’s founding in 1870, 150th Anniversary Batch 2 was one of three limited-edition, unfiltered bourbons crafted from 150 hand-selected barrels. Blended by Master Taster Jackie Zykan, Batch 2 comprised 48 barrels and was bottled at 126.4 proof. The barrels were aged 6–8 years in heat-cycled warehouses, with staves air-dried for 150 days, honoring George Garvin Brown’s pioneering legacy in bourbon bottling.
