Love the 2018 vintage of this wine. The nose brings aromas of dried cherry and roses, and on the palate you will find raspberries, tar, tobacco, truffle, and a little Langhe dust with a good tannin structure. I really enjoy the elegance to this wine, and with all of its varietal purity here, I recommend decanting for a couple hours...or even aging a couple of years (up to five or six years if you are that patient). This would show extremely well with a wild mushroom risotto or a barbecue Tri-tip.

Approachable and expressive Langhe Nebbiolo. An intro of significant amounts of mission fig, Tulare cherry, aged balsamic, rosemary oil and touch of dust and clay aromas. It started out slightly compressed in the beginning but over a three day period the flavors became softened and lengthier. Oxygen is this wines best friend as slight nuances of coco and kirsch hung around over the course of the days opened. Quite enjoyable and absolutely pairable with a well marbled roasted prime rib roast, rich demi glace and caramelized root vegetables. Gustare!
