Kamara Estate Retsina Greece (500ml)

Dimitrios Kioutsoukis hails from the region of Thessaliniki in Northern Greece. Experimenting with local grapes like Limnio and Xinmavro, he also has planted famed Greek varieties like Roditis, Malagousia, Assyrtiko and Moschofilero. Working with all native yeasts, all wines are unfined and unfiltered and have zero sulfites added at bottling. The Retsina is a blend of 50% Roditis and 50% Assyrtiko. All vinification is done in stainless steel tank and small pieces of Aleppo pine resin are added to the must during the fermentation. The results are a mildly pine driven style of Retsina that is accented by notes of ginger and dried pear. *Natural Wine*
