Reviewed May 2006Red-ruby. Cassis, violet, dark chocolate and menthol on the nose. Juicy, leanish and penetrating, with dominant flavors of dark fruits. Quite firm but not hard. Finishes with excellent length and structure. Needs at least three or four years of aging. Potentially the best vintage yet under this label. (ST)

This 1,500-case blend of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 13.5% Cabernet Franc and the rest Petit Verdot possesses a dark ruby color along with an attractive bouquet of plums, licorice, underbrush, and blue fruits. A nice texture, medium body, and an elegant style. (RP)
