Review Date: 12/2023Reflecting this producer's predilection for dry Champagnes, this wine is crisp, with minerality and tight citrus fruits. The wine is beautifully textured, needing a few more months in bottle. Drink from 2024. (RV)

Racy and linear, this unfolds on the palate to reveal a rich range of apricot tarte, lemon curd and marzipan underscored by a striking vein of chalky minerality. Packs power and drive but is finely knit and elegant overall, with details of white blossoms, fleur de sel and grapefruit peel lingering on the finish. (AN)

Now officially one of my favorite Blanc de Blancs! The richness of the Grand and Premier Cru Chardonnay shines through with no added dosage and the balance is impeccable. Citrus-y apple fruit, floral aromas, a touch of nuttiness, subtle smoke and toast from the lees contact and a bright, long finish with no cloying sweetness. One glass was not enough on this one.

This Laurent Perrier bottling is of my favorites in the Blanc de Blanc realm. A crisp and clean Champagne that leads towards lemon, fresh ginger, honeycomb, white peach and fragrant white flowers on the nose and palate. The finish is full, present and lengthy. This is a perfect Champagne for a lover of bright lifted flavors with med plus acidity. Enjoy this with escolar nigiri.

This Brut Nature Blanc de Blanc is intended for an apertif, but I think it would pair so well with food (think sushi!) and it delivers! The beautiful aromatic nose with hints of candied almonds pairs so well with the balanced acid, minerality and salinity on the palate. It's the linear finish that really got me. From start to finish, each note represented the fresh, clean and elegant champagne Laurent Perrier is known for. We don't have much in stock so get yours before we run out!
Notes
This all-Chardonnay Champagne is from a combination of Grand and Premier cru vineyards and is aged for six years on the lees. No sugar of any kind is added to this Champagne, and the second fermentation is done with yeast and grape must! (Gary Westby, K&L Champagne buyer)
