Rezpiral Coyote "Series 4" (Aureliano Hernandez) San Baltazar Guelevila Uncertified Oaxacan Mezcal (750ml)

One of the very best mezcals on our shelf is distilled by the excellent Aureliano Hernandez in the village of San Baltazar Guelevila. The Coyote is harvested at around 10 years old. The oak fired conical oven is lined with volcanic rock and the roasted agave is crushed on horse-drawn tahona before being double distilled on small copper pots. This batch was distilled way back in 2014.
