Reviewed October 2019This is a huge, muscular but agile wine made from organically grown grapes. Fragrant aromas of French oak spices are followed by concentrated layers of black cherry, cinnamon, black currant and clove. Supported by a big, velvety frame of soft tannins, it is seductive now and will improve through 2026. *Cellar Selection* (JG)

A stellar deal in Cabernet. Paul Dolan's wines have long been known to savvy buyers and folks in the wine business as some of the best values in California. This is a perfect illustration of that quality to price ratio. Estate grown, CCOF certified organic grapes, 94 points and a Cellar Selection from Wine Enthusiast and still under $20! This wine is powerful and rich with dense, dark, plummy, blackcurrant fruit. Smoky spices, broad rich texture, concentration and varietal tannins. A real mouthful of Cab with a lovely, authentic, non-manipulated feel. What a bargain at this price.
