This has a classic Cote de Nuits profile, with tart cherry and cranberry flavors, spice and terroir-driven aromas with the perfect pop of acidity. This is a terrific value for $16. Have this classic red with a classic dish like Boeuf Bourguignon.

Formed in 1957 by a small group of growers in the village of Orches in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune region, Nuiton-Beaunoy has grown to now represent more than 80 growers and operates a co-op winery Cave des Hautes-Côtes. Winery notes: "Purple colour with hints of ruby. With a hint of spice, the nose reveals the scent of raspberry and blackcurrant, with a definite hint of minerality. The perfect expression of its origins, the wine is pure and fresh on the palate."
