The full-bodied palate is quite serious and stern, with firm, ripe tannins and seamless freshness to support the pure, pronounced black fruits, finishing with a minty lift. (LPB)

The 2018 Marquis de Terme is pliant, racy and inviting. Silky tannins and plush, forward fruit add to the wine's undeniable appeal and sense of immediacy. Although not especially complex, this racy, fruity Margaux has a ton to offer. Best of all, it will drink well with minimal cellaring. Tasted two times. (AG)

Offering a medium-bodied, supple, lightly textured style as well as notes of cassis, spicy oak, and tobacco, it has ripe tannins, good balance, and a clean finish. It’s a more elegant Margaux that’s going to benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age.
