From the locally foraged Agave Mai, the Tutsi is produced in the most traditional fashion. In the village of Tatei Kie, Don. Rafael Carrillo Pizano harvested these wild Mai Agave and roasted them over black oak in natural stone oven. It is fermented in rock pits before being distilled once in the hand built Huichol style still.
