Barrel Sample. This is a light wine with fine acidity and a young texture that brings in both botrytis and gingery spice flavors. The wine is already delicious, but the tight texture will allow it to age well. (RV)

Floral and lifted, with pretty mango, pineapple, apricot and yellow flower nuances, the 2015 is absolutely striking in its beauty. Above all else, what I admire about the Clos Haut-Peyraguey is the expression of richness with no excess weight. This beautifully layered, polished Sauternes is a winner from Bernard Magrez."
