Pure aromas of white peach and flowers. Sweet and ripe but vivacious too, with classic Puligny flavors of peach, flowers and minerals. Less reduced than the Charmes and easier to taste today. Finishes very dry, with a hint of licorice and excellent length and lift.

One of the more extroverted wines in the range, the 2011 Puligny-Montrachet Les Chalumeaux bursts from the glass with tons of personality. Succulent yellow peaches, apricots, spices and honey all blossom as the wine opens up. This is an especially rich, honeyed Puligny with an extroverted personality and a sense of structure with distinct Pinot leanings. (AG)

The nose offers up cool green fruit, white flower and lemon-lime aromas that complement well the much more intensely mineral-driven middle weight flavors that culminate in a markedly dry, linear and lingering finish. This is really quite fine, indeed it is an understated wine of finesse. *Outstanding*

This exotic white features lime blossom, apple, mineral and waxy notes matched to a lean frame. Taut, with intense flavors that persist through the finish of toast and buttered pastry. (BS)
