The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Il Barone is a darker, richer and ultimately more complete wine than the 2009. Sweet dark cherries, plums, menthol, spices, licorice and pine are just some of the notes that come to life in this beautifully delineated, articulate Cabernet Sauvignon. The fruit shows gorgeous vibrancy through to the finish. This is a promising showing. (AG)
