Reviewed August 2023This is lovely, the aromas and flavors run long into the finish with notes of light butter biscuits, subtle cooked apples and peaches. It's full yet balanced and long. Lovely texture. Lots of flavor and polished textured bubbles. The base in the current release is 2016 vintage. 50% chardonnay, 35% pinot noir and 15% pinot meunier. Disgorged in December 2022.

This elegant Champagne has a lithe, supple feel to it, with the delicate mousse carrying a fine range of nectarine, ripe green apple and white cherry fruit and accents of grated ginger, elderflower and biscuit. Long, minerally finish. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. (AN)

Sourced from over 100 Grand Cru villages, this well balanced and delicious Champagne is appley and creamy, with richer apricot and brioche towards the finish giving a soft impression. (JB)
Notes
This replacement for the Laurent-Perrier Brut was created after the house acquired new vineyards and contracts in the Côtes de Blancs, allowing for a bump up in the composition favoring Chardonnay, and an extra year of aging on the lees.
