Kizakura "Bushido Way of the Warrior" Ginjo Genshu Sake (180ml can)
Review Date: 08/2019
Silky in texture with citrus notes and a clean finish, Kizakura "Bushido Way of the Warrior" is a genshu – undiluted – sake that hits hard but goes down easily. A beautifully classic, dry Ginjo sake, perhaps its most intriguing selling point is the packaging: awesome cans with reusable lids! Refreshing and portable, this 180ml release from Kizakura is perfect for an al fresco sushi stop.

Notes
The gorgeous Ginjo Genshu from Kizakura Brewery in Kyoto is brewed from Gohyakumangoku and Gin-Ohmi and polished to 60%. Founded in 1925, Kizakura is committed to the highest quality at every turn. Known for their Yamahai this Ginjo Genshu is a little less serious, but not at all boring. Intended to bring Sake into the everyday drinking category without sacrificing quality or authenticity, expect a vibrant nose of tart red fruit, mellow ripe pear, and subtle floral aromas. The palate is clean crispy, dry and refreshing. Due to the uncut nature of Genshu sake the texture is bold and the finish is long.
