The Debate was borne of just that: a debate between two wine industry professionals over which Napa vineyard deserved the nomination of "best." They founded The Debate with a focus on three single vineyard wines. From the winery: "Dr. Crane is situated on the west side of St. Helena which has gravelly loamy soils and a very warm climate. Of all their sites, Dr. Crane is the warmest, and has the most extracted style. Because of this, the wine has a very rich and velvety palate with candied fruit on the finish."
