From the famous bar in Oaxaca City renowned for sourcing directly from producers in the hardest to get to areas of Oaxaca and putting an exceptional amount of information on their label, this extremely limited offering is one of the most special we've yet seen in the US. Distilled by Master Mezcalero Felipe Cortés in the small village of Miahuatlán, this is a 50/50 blend of Agave Potatorum (Tobala) and Kawinskii (Madrecuixe). Harvested from very high altitudes the agave were roasted in conical earthen ovens over mezquite & encino wood. Adding only spring water, wild yeast fermentation took seven days to complete. Finally distilled twice on copper before being bottled at a massive 105.2 proof. Only 220 bottles produced from this lot #1-15
