This all estate grown Pinot Noir is rich enough that it does not need any dosage! William Kelley's notes on the producer for wineadvocate.com: "Founded in the early 20th century in the Côte des Bar, Urville-based Maison Drappier produces full-bodied, flavorful wines derived from largely organic farming, ripe grapes, low dosage and comparatively low sulfur winemaking. The range includes single-vineyard bottling La Grande Sendrée, one of the first lieu-dit bottlings produced in Champagne. I was impressed by these recent releases, all of which represent very fine values and deserve to be better known." (4/2019)
