2013 Abbaye Saint Hilaire Coteaux Varois en Provence Rosé
Review Date: 06/2014
This robust rose has a light salmon pink color with fascinating aromas of ripe wild mountain strawberries and I found a good amount of minerality. It's fresh and lingering on the palate with a very dry finish. Buy a couple bottles, as the first one will empty quickly.

A classic, crisp and dry Provencal rose, this blend of Cinsault, Syrah and Grenache is bright, fresh and very easy to enjoy. The perfect spring and summer sipper for warm evenings and alfresco dinning. From 50 to 60-year-old vineyards farmed in compliance with Agriculture Raisonnée. Abbaye St Hillare are committed to taking real steps to protect the environment with a dedicated approach to greening their vineyards using only organic fertilizer, with weeding done naturally by grazing sheep.
