2010 Domaine Jean Grivot Nuits-St-Georges 1er Cru "Les Boudots"

Note: from 70+ year old vines There is a touch of reduction that doesn't really particularly interfere with the expressiveness of the lightly spiced nose of ripe red currant, plum, violets and ample earth influence. The earth can also be found on the caressing middle weight flavors that are blessed with an abundance of dry extract that imparts a seductive mouth feel and buffers the moderately tannic spine. This is actually quite succulent yet the finish is sufficiently firm to suggest that this will require 10 to 12 years of cellar time first. *Burghound Outstanding!*
