Good red-ruby. Nicely ripe aromas of raspberry and eucalyptus complemented by spicy oak. Fat, supple and rich, with an essential softness to the wine's tangy red fruit flavors. Nicely full, palate-coating wine with sound acidity, lush tannins and excellent length. I find the Blank wine to be a rather extreme cabernet owing to its strong eucalyptus element, but this vintage is a superb example of the house style. (ST)
