The Savoie is a picture of fairy-tale perfection: snow-capped peaks, green rolling hills, wildflowers and cold, sparkling mountain streams. This idyllic region hugs the western Alps, where Michel Quenard farms 22 hectares of vineyards along the steep, terraced slopes of the Coteaux de Torméry around Chignin. Enter this lovely, brisk and brut Savoie sparkling wine. There's a creamy, yeasty style here that coexists with the clean, apple-like aromas of the Jacquère grape from which it is vinified. Some people ooh and ahh when they taste it. We certainly do, and especially when it's paired with a slice of charcuterie, cheese and baguette! 12% abv.
