Large-scaled, soft and rich, offering compelling generosity to its sweet cassis and licorice flavors. Finishes very long and balanced, with big but sweet tannins and outstanding breadth. The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Clone 4 is a huge, implosive wine. Dark red berries, flowers and licorice take shape beautifully in the glass. Rich layers of fruit continue to saturate the palate in this impeccable Cabernet Sauvignon. Today the tannins are quite firm, which bodes very well for the future. (AG)
