Deep ruby-red. Penetrating, slightly high-toned aromas of redcurrant and eucalyptus; a bit greener than the 2007. Then almost surprisingly lush and sweet in the middle, with a pliancy that should allow for early consumption. But this fairly rich wine also has good underlying structure. Made from a Grace clone in Rutherford, but vinified by Gary Brookman in the Grace Family Vineyards winery north of St. Helena. (ST)
