The wine has peach and almond flavors that contrast well with the taut, nervy edge. It’s full in the mouth and ripe, and works well both as an apéritif and a food Champagne.

(50% pinot noir, 40% chardonnay and 10% pinot meunier; L1335PP00300): Bright yellow-gold. Musky pear skin, quince and orange zest aromas show very good energy. Hefty and chewy in texture, offering fleshy orchard fruit and chamomile flavors and a hint of bitter citrus fruit. Closes with firm grip and very good length, leaving a poached pear note behind.
