This well-regarded château was named one of the Second Growths in the Official 1855 Classification of Bordeaux, and has continued to make a name for itself in the ensuing years with a voluptuous, soft style, thanks to a higher percentage of Merlot in its wine than its Left-Bank neighbors. One of the so-called "Super Seconds," it's known for elegance, complexity and serious longevity.
