Bright, deep, opaque ruby. Subtle, brooding aromas of blackberry, violet and pepper. Extraordinarily concentrated, superripe, essence-of-berry flavors border on painful today. This has really uncanny intensity. The explosive fruit blows past the substantial tannins on the finish. Wow! (ST)
