Good red-ruby. Sauvage aromas of redcurrant, mocha, smoke and leather. Lush and smooth, with raspberry, tobacco and smoke notes, along with hints of meat and leather. A bit more rustic than it appeared to be in barrel last year. Tannins are nicely ripe for the vintage. (ST)
