This is very dry with apple, praline and pie-crust character. It’s full, layered and gorgeous with a lovely, creamy texture. The base is from the 2017 vintage, one third each of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. 41% of reserve from previous years, such as 2016 and 2015.

The latest release of Deutz's NV Brut Classic is showing nicely, offering up notes of citrus, crisp orchard fruit, fresh bread and nutmeg. Medium to full-bodied, bright and precise, with a nicely layered core of fruit and a pearly mousse, it's pure and elegant, exemplifying the house's understated style. (WK)

This great house, located in Ay, is owned by the Roederer group but has a style all of its own. If you love the big, broad Pinot Noir wines of Champagne, this is for you. The wine has a good amount of toast, plenty of richness and finishes dry

Email KyleI recently tasted this at our Champagne event and was pleasantly suprised by the balance and concentration of this wine. A balanced blend with richness and stone fruit notes as well and a very full mouth feel.
Notes
Located in the world-famous village of Aÿ at the base of the chalky Montagne de Reims. On the nose, the wine is rich with yeasty, bready notes. On the palate, the initial impression is of red fruits which then turns into crisp citrus and honey notes. The finish is bright and clean.
