Bid on this bottle of 2019 Torrin "The Banshee" Willow Creek Rhone Blend (95JS, 95RP, 93VN). Wine Advocate: "The 2019 Banshee is a blend of 47% Mourvèdre, 35% Syrah and 18% Grenache, matured in 33% new French oak for 20 months. It has a medium ruby-purple color with detailed aromas of cranberry jelly, pomegranate, lavender, dried herbs and flint. The medium-bodied palate features crunchy fruit and fireworks of fresh acidity, with an approachable, chalky frame and long, spicy finish. Yum! The Banshee has a high proportion of Mourvèdre in the blend this vintage—winemaker Scott Hawley says the variety did exceptionally well in 2019. 461 cases were made. (EB)" (12/2022)
