2018 Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet Puligny-Montrachet "Les Enseignères"

Fleeting aromas of white flowers, seashore, orange zest and hazelnut give way to peach and lemon flavors, with accents of vanilla, clove and nutmeg. It's subtle, verging on creamy in texture, finishing long and balanced. (BS)

Smoky aromas of fresh and pretty floral, lemon-lime, essence of pear and discreet spice nuances are trimmed in a light application of wood. There is fine volume and mid-palate fat to the medium-bodied flavors that possess good concentration on the reasonably well-balanced finish. I say reasonably well-balanced because while there is a touch of warmth, it's not enough to materially detract from the overall sense of balance for this generously proportioned and relatively forward Puligny villages. *Outstanding!*
