Established in Beaune in 1877, Remoissenet Père et Fils is a historic Burgundy house with a longstanding connection to Baron Thénard’s Montrachet holdings. Its 1993 bottling draws on that relationship, rooted in two parcels on the Chassagne-Montrachet side of the grand cru, beside Domaine de la Romanée-Conti’s vines. This prized Chardonnay site combines favorable hillside exposure with thin, limestone-rich soils, underpinning Montrachet’s reputation for remarkable depth and finesse.
